Women in eSports
The Vision
I plan to build an organization to support and connect women in competitive gaming to proper resources and training. Building into their gaming and personal lives with intentional mentorship programs and free resources.
We will start with Halo Infinite and as we gain momentum we can diversify into other competitive games.
LGBQT+ Supporting and promoting women in the gaming industry.
Where to begin..
Right now I am focusing on networking in the local community to be able to find talent and interested parties regarding esports.
I will develop a loose branding and logo and brainstorm team/org names or debate sticking with JessChilling.
I am going to continue to look for resources and connections to get this platform off the ground
Where we are going.
By the end of the year I would like to have branding polished and grown connected to gamers in the area. Team with Alberta eSports Association extending an invite to the female competitors still in highschool.
I will aim to start hosting our first events in January for locals, covid depending. We will connect with the GTH Community and Calgary Halo for hosting LAN coed events and team scrims.
I hope to have started a team roster and begin practices and scrims. We will host fundraising events to supports our female gamers and aim to host sponsorships for certain events.
